Well this was a huge project. (mental note to
self - keep your gob shut in future). So the surprise
birthday lunch went without a glitch. 10 place
settings and favour box's in Lynn's favourite
colours of blue, blue and blue/green. One notebook
and pen in matching colours for the most organised
girl i have ever met and a matching pair of earrings.
My first proper attempt at jewellery. Oh and
of course matching birthday card though she had
that yesterday and has almost definitely consumed
a bottle of wine or two by now so won't have
noticed yet. It has taken 2 weeks to finish them
all but am really pleased with the way they turned
out. I think she was as well which was the main
point. Thanks for looking.

Ok had a spare 1/2 hour and started
playing. I love these colours. I used craft
bravo burgundy and black with greenhouse
garden and flight of the butterfly stamps.

Funky Friday 58

This is one of those really awkward
male cards. It's for my baby brother in
a couple of weeks so here's hoping he
doesn't suddenly discover my blog.
I've used up a few scraps which is always
a bonus. I love the truck for some reason.
I used Night of Navy, Old Olive and Really
Rust. Not my favourite colours but i don't
think my brother would be impressed with
pinks and purples.
Right this was a tough one. Its for my niece.
Very girlie loves pink and that sort of thing
but very cheeky and loveable with it. Can see
her being a real heart breaker when she
grows up. I tried to mix the cheeky monkey's
with a girlie feel. Not sure it has worked but
I think she will love it anyway.

Hello again

Ok after listening to a friend complaining
about the lack of choice for cards with 90 on
i decided to have a play. Inspiration left home
some time ago and i was getting worried. So
anyway here is the finished attempt which i'm
rather pleased with having struggled so long
for ideas (being able to find the camera helps
as well).

Funky Friday 50

No. 1
No. 2
No. 3
Ok not my best atempt at photo's but i think they work
well enough to get the idea.
So either I have too much time on my hands or the
housework is suffering. Ok i'll do the housework tomorrow
i promise just don't turn the lights up. So can you tell i've
had fun then. Normally i struggle for any inspiration but
it just keeps a coming at the mo. So I used white, pretty
in pink, barley banana, choc chip and close to cocoa.
Wasn't too sure about the colours at first but not too bad
if i say so myself. Thanks for stopping by for a look.

funky Friday 48

Ok so now I'm getting carried away.
2 cards in 1 week what is the world
coming to. So this started life as a
Birthday card then a Mothers day
card and now I'm thinking Easter
card. Now how versatile is that.

Funky Friday 48

OK this is a quick post having been struck
down with the monthly blues. I really like
this one and feel quite proud but not sure
how it happened as it is nothing like what
I was trying for. I have used up lots of bits
from a previous project so couldn't tell you
what they are. I think this will be my mother
in laws Mother's day card as think she will
appreciate the design and colours. (Or is she
just too polite to tell me otherwise?). Hope
to post some more before the end of the
week as i feel quite inspired now.

Funky Friday 46

Okay so after a couple of hectic weeks I'm trying
to get back to my crafting. I havn't attempted the
scrapbooking yet so thought i would give it a go.
I have stuck this in my stampin journal so lets
hope this encourages me to keep trying. The
picture is stuck onto some forever friends paper
and i used pink buttons out of the soft subtle group.
I also used a little bit of of pretty in pink taffeta
ribbon. Then stuck to a piece of black card and put
in my journal. Hope you enjoy.

Funky Friday 43

So here we go. Ickle baby Bro has just got
his first job and i need to make a card for
him and do the Funky Friday challenge as
well. Easy Peasy.

Yeah OK its for a boy who can't make up
his mind if he is EMO, Goth or some other
weird concoction (and studying to be a
doctor?).

Maybe not so easy after all. So here is the
finished attempt.I have used real red card
on white. Some Chinese style background
paper from a project never started black
ink black and white gingham ribbon
that i recycled from another card oval
Punch's and basic phrases. oh and a couple
of red brad's. Please forgive the photography
I will get better at it I'm sure.

Funky Friday 42

OK so after lots of encouragement (spelt nagging)
from my good friend Abi I now have something
that looks like a blog.

So here goes. I tried several times (honest) to
capture the true colours but couldn't quite
manage it so you will have to trust me. These
colours are a light and dark blue with white
craft ink and white ribbon. Honest. Its been a
very long day and I'm running out of time to
get this posted.
I used The snowflake spot and Forest friends
stamp sets.
Thanks for looking and please don't laugh too
loud.
